WE ARE KOOPE

Leading the way to de-mystify a complicated marketplace, Koope makes Cleansers & Moisturizers, with everything your skin needs in two simple steps. Our formulas are suitable for all skin types, free from common sensitizers and 1400 toxic ingredients banned in Europe. But we are about more than just great skincare products, we are starting a movement encouraging all brands to do more in their communities and causes to make the world a safer, healthier and better place.

Developed under EU regulations banning dangerous ingredients

Koope is formulated under EU regulation. This means that our 'free-from' list excludes 1400+ toxic ingredients banned in the EU, most of them not banned in the USA and Canada (The USA bans around 30 * ingredients and Canada 300*).
We promise that we will never add anything on this list to any of our products.

We seek out ingredients that make change in communities

If we all do a little bit to support local and underserved communities, then we have the ability to change the world. Really...we believe that.

Koope actively seeks purpose-led ingredients that are harvested or produced by manufacturers who give back. This might be in the form of non-profits, community or conservation projects.

One of our feature ingredients making an impact in South Africa is our baobab oil. Part of the Eco Products Foundation, a non-profit initiative committed to buying fruit directly from rural harvesters and providing under-resourced pre-school areas where harvesters live with education toys, swings & jungle gyms, school equipment & infrastructure, early childhood development training for teachers, conservation training and protection where baobab trees are planted.

Brands can make a difference

We believe that brands can do more, they reach so many people that they have a power and responsibility to make a difference in the world.
If we all make a difference in our own communities, one by one, the world becomes a safer and better place.

Nearly 40.3 million people are being trafficked worldwide with estimated 300k of them in the USA alone (70% women). Most of us think that trafficking is something you see on television, but it is happening all round us. Recent cases such as the Weinstein and Epstein trials has shon a light on this silent but very present epidemic in the USA and Canada.

Koope donates $1 from every product sold to Covenant House in support of their anti-human trafficking initiative. Koope also donates paid working hours each month for staff to volunteer at one of our partner charities in anti-human trafficking.

In 2021 Covenant House helped 74,000 youths with emergency or residential shelter, and support/counselling services.

A woman on a mission

Meet our founder Nadia Porter

Esthetician Nadia Porter created from the belief that skincare shouldn't be complicated and should never include known sensitizing or toxic ingredients.

In her early 30’s she suffered a severe reaction to a luxury skincare brand. She was treated for Chronic Urticaria (hives) on her face for nearly a year, then set out on a mission to create a skincare brand that was effective, easy to understand and doesn't include common sensitizers.

Nadia wanted to do more than just a great product, she wanted to help change the world. A child trafficking survivor, Nadia has spent years volunteering with charities to support survivors and fight to end human trafficking. Now Koope is fighting the fight with our charity program.
